AcuGraph

Where ancient wisdom meets cutting-edge technology. The AcuGraph Digital Meridian Imaging system is a computerized tool used to analyze and document the status of your energetic health. By completing a two-minute, non-invasive, non-needle exam, Randi is able to electronically measure and assess your energy. The Acugraph technology will allow you to see color-coded graphs, charts and explanations of what Randi is already able to assess and diagnose energetically from 16 years of acupuncture experience. Randi will go over the results with you in detail providing you with a deeper understanding of the findings related to your energetic health.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing is a simple yet powerful hands-on bodywork system developed by Fritz Smith M.D., designed to balance body energy and body structure. It blends Eastern viewpoints of energy and healing with Western scientific approaches to body structure. Zero Balancing (ZB) brings clearer, stronger fields of energy through the body, releasing tension held both in the body and the mind. In this way ZB significantly improves physical and mental function, and promotes feelings of well-being and integration. A typical ZB session requires about 30 minutes and is done with the client lying face-up and fully clothed. Using gentle, pleasant techniques, ZB focuses on the deepest, strongest energy currents in the body, which are located in the skeletal system. Because ZB induces a clearer flow of energy through the body and mind, it can help people resolve long-standing traumas and help them to deal with stressful situations in their current life.

Fellow in Thanatology

Thanatology is the study of death, dying and bereavement. ‚ÄčOver the last sixteen years I have seen the amazing benefits that acupuncture, animal acupuncture and zero balancing treatments can provide for everyone and especially for the terminally ill and their loved ones. My fellowship in thanatology was a natural outgrowth of this profound and humbling experience.  Workshops, classes or seminars are an additional service provided by Transitions Acupuncture. Topics include, but are not limited to: death and dying, loss and grief, pet loss, acupressure/acupuncture for the terminally ill and the bereaved. Custom programs are also available.

End of Life Doula

In the last hours of a persons life, the presence of a doula can be of great comfort.  A doula has a familiarity and comfort level with the dying process that allows everyone involved to be held in a space of compassion, care, calm and respect. A doula may provide support for families who can't be present when their loved one is actively dying or may be present along side the family for added support. Doula services are performed at the patient's bedside.
